ABOUT THIS TRIP

Into the Heart - African Safari is much more than an amazing holiday to discover and connect with wildlife. It is an invitation to a seven-day inward journey to uncover a deep connection with your own heart, practice being truly present and live in the wonder of your wild, authentic nature.

Join us on an African Safari adventure to the wonderful wilderness of Botswana for a truly joyful soul journey of a lifetime.

You will experience incredible scenery and wildlife; a serene and comfortable stay in a beautiful lodge on the banks of the Boteti River; and expertly guided safari tours and daily group practices (see below) to support your journey Into the Heart.

WHERE WILL WE STAY?

Our main accommodation is in a beautiful, newly-built safari lodge on the banks of the Boteti River in Northern Botswana, in a secluded area less than a thirty-minute drive from Maun airport.

This intimate lodge has seven 36m² safari-tented rooms (double or single occupancy) with ensuite shower rooms and private decks; a communal lounging and eating area (the only space with Wifi signal); a cosy pool area with a small pool; a boma; and two wooden viewing decks overlooking the Boteti river. Ten wonderful local staff live onsite.

WHAT WILL WE DO?

We will travel, practice, move, breath and enjoy this beautiful experience in a small mixed group, supported by experienced local guides and two UK-trained co-facilitators, Maria Cotera and Melanie Murphy.

WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Tented accommodation
A 36m² safari tented room, including ensuite shower room and decking area; hot water; linen, towels, toiletries.

Maun Airport Transfers
Arrival - Sunday, 4 June 2023. Departure - Saturday, 10 June 2023.
Meals / filtered water
Homemade, locally-sourced breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the lodge / safari camp (packed while on activities).
Daily Group Practice
Guided meditations. Sharing circles. Embodied movement practice.
Fire - Ritual Ceremony
Full Moon Fire Ceremony. Into the Heart Fire Circle.
Water - River Safari
Sunset Mokoro Safari (traditional canoe).
Earth - Wildlife Safari
Two-day / overnight Safari in Moremi Nature Reserve (shared camping facilities).
Air - Helicopter ride
Guided Breathwork Journey. Scenic helicopter ride over the Okavango Delta.
